Technology Products and Services Company (TPS) has achieved a significant milestone by securing a contract with the consortium of Acciona and Tawzea. This contract entails the supply of Lamella/Tube Settlers materials crucial for 3 wastewater treatment plants across three distinct locations: Madinah, Tabuk, and Buraydah.
These projects fall under the auspices of SWPC (Saudi Water Partnership Company) and have been presented to investors utilizing the BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer) approach. TPS will be sourcing all the necessary material from Brentwood Co., based in the U.S.
Currently, 80% of the total material, equivalent to 64 containers, has already been delivered to the three project sites. In addition to this, TPS has also inked another contract with the same consortium.
This agreement pertains to handling and executing assembly work for tube settlers modules at the aforementioned sites before their installation inside the tanks/clarifiers. Assembly operations have commenced at two sites, namely Buraydah and Tabuk, with Madinah set to follow suit shortly.
This successful endeavor is expected to open doors for TPS, paving the way for future opportunities to secure similar contracts, particularly for the construction of new Sewage Treatment Plants under SWPC's purview.
