In October of this year, Technology Products and Services Company, TPS, had its second participation in the Water Arabia Conference and Exhibition organized by SAWEA, the Saudi Arabian Water Environment Association. This year’s participation was distinguished as it was a joint participation with the Al Kuhaimi Metal Industries as exhibitors and also gold sponsors of the event.
The event, considered to be a very important local platform, gathered people involved and interested in water and wastewater treatment as well as desalination and irrigation industries. Water Arabia was supported by the Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture, MEWA, the US based Water Environment Federation, WEF, and its local chapter, SAWEA, as well as Saudi Aramco.
With the large expansion in number of products, services and solutions which were added during the past three years to its portfolio, TPS was confident this year to participate with a bigger booth and as a golden sponsor standing among the biggest players of the water and wastewater treatment field in the Kingdom. This was perceived by the event’s supporters, other sponsors and visitors with high recognition and appreciation especially for the leap taken to localize the manufacturing of several products at the Al Kuhaimi Metal Industries.
In addition to the PENSTOCKS, launched years back as a locally manufactured product by Al Kuhaimi Metal Industries, TPS, this year, introduced a the newly developed Package Containerized Wastewater Treatment Plants with broad applications in treating wastewater in remote areas like labor camps, hospitals, hotels or remote small population centers. This product recently become the fast plug and play solution. Only a few weeks after the event, TPS was awarded its first order to manufacture a 150m³/day plant for an ARAMCO project. Worth to mention that TPS has developed the manufacturing of this product with the cooperation of Active Water Solutions (AWS) from the USA and is presently working to develop other new products to be manufactured locally at the KMI facilities.
